In this class we will be studying Contemporary Global Studies. This means that we will be looking
at the geography, economy, government and culture of all 7 continents. Listed below is a breakdown of the units of study
by quarter.

Extra Credit Options
- 2A, 3A, 3B, & 4B: Find 2 extra articles and do wite-ups for Current Event Notebook. (Up to
10 extra credit points per article.)
- All classes: Bi-weekly word puzzles: Complete the word puzzles to find the phrase. (2 points
for every correct answer.) Puzzles changed every two weeks.
- All classes: Bring in any artifacts from other areas of the world to share with the class. (5
extra credit points)
